An installer should install the cable in environmental conditions that are within the limits.
Moisture– installer can install a cable that is not moisture-resistant in an environment that contains moisture.
Operating temperature range-when an installer installs cable in an environment with temperatures outside the operating range , the cable will increase attenuation &/or degradation of the cable materials. There may be insufficient power at the receiver.
Crush Loads-when an installer installs the cable in an environment that has a long or short term crush load within the cables limit , the cable can have increased attenuation rate & fiber breakage.
Use Load- the installer can install with a cable long-term on the cable in excess of the cable’s rate.
The installer should always respect and take notice of the conditions that are within the limits.
