The following methods shared , limit the load but do nothing to reduce the load.
There are only two methods that can be applied to the cable to reduce load; lubricant and “Figure 8” installation.
The installer can use a lubricant cable to reduce friction and load on the cable. The installer should use a fiber cable lubricant because a lubricant is matched to the jacket of the cable.
The next method to reducing load is by pulling the cable by hand in many, reduced-length pulls. If installed in many different pulls, the installer will store the cable at locations in a “Figure 8” pattern. This is a second method used for reduced load.
